How the proxy checker tool works
What does proxy checking do?
The checker connects to every proxy on your list and asks a geo service for the external IP through it. If a response comes back, the proxy works: we show the address websites see, the country, the city and the response time.
If there is no response, we explain why in plain words: a wrong password, a closed port, no reply within 10 seconds, or a proxy that accepts neither HTTP nor SOCKS5.
